The diet is over and the data is in. Let’s not bury the lead, did it work?

I have data for 6 weeks, I actually started the diet about 4 days prior to the start of the following graph but the scale hadn’t arrived yet.

If you go strictly by the trendline I dropped about 2 pounds. That’s not really monumental and it’s definitely short of the 5 pound goal.

Anecdotally however, I did need to go the cobbler to have another hole punched in my leather belts so maybe it’s not all about the numbers.

Analysis

Looking at R2 we can see that the trendline isn’t a great fit. You don’t really need to look at R2 to tell that frankly; the measurements are all over the place. I think the explanation for this is that I sweat a lot and that’s basically water weight.

Acetone

Acetone over time, higher numbers are “better”. This is a proxy measure of Ketosis.

30 and above is considered therapeutic Ketosis (Ketonix Interpretation).
